Release notes – Golf Product – Release version 48.1.0

The following information relates to Golf Product release version 48.1.0 which will be rolled out to all clients commending Monday 28 April 2025.

Features
MEMBERSHIP DIRECTORY – There is now functionality to hide specific membership categories from view in the member’s directory and timesheet booking screens. Access this via Membership > Membership Categories in the admin toolbar.
TIMESHEET TEMPLATE MANAGEMENT – The ability to add comments from a timesheet template is now available as an option when doing advance fixture creation.
PLAYING PARTNERS FOR MICLUB MOBILE – Members now have the ability to manage their playing partners on the mobile website
NEARPINS – Further improvements to the NearPin functionality for stability and reliability.

What’s New
- Update to Membership > Membership Categories interface
- MiStats Putts report to now default to Women’s sheet and also include Chip In’s
- Ballot option to Allow Others and Book only Preferred Time can be default enabled
- Ballot to transfer ownership of entry to booking after draw ie Member that entered a ballot group can remove those players after draw

WHS Release – January ’20 (UPDATE)
Testing of World Handicap updates is almost complete process. Deployment of latest updates from January 20th.

- Great scores report now optional to show birdies etc on team events

Jan ’19 Release
The January release has commenced roll out with all sites expected to be on new version by mid January. Included in the release are changes to allow Max Scores per Hole for Stroke/Nett rounds. More information will follow on how to implement and advise members.
In general if implemented players can record a maximum score on a hole or the score will be reduced to the maximum score when entering score. Each hole can be set to a maximum score above the players nett score the default is +3.
So a player with 2 shots on a par 5 with max score of +3 can pick up after 10 shots

November ’18 Release Notes
The November release is now on all sites and includes a lot of new enhancements and a few bug fixes. Please contact the miclub help team by phone, email or live chat for further information. The most requested enhancements to come through are the miscore software to now restart after a Windows update that doesn’t restart the computer, One Golf sites now have live leaderboard link on member home page and allocating tee times in Match Play will now ignore byes.
We have been working on the wait list in the last few months with the big change being members that have booking rights later in the week now cannot add their name to the wait list until the booking rules allows them. Coming soon we will be hiding the members names on the wait list from member view. Members on the wait list can only view their own name and position on the wait list. Club admin will still be able to view the names on the wait list.

MiClub Sprint 9 & 10
Release Date: Aug 21, 2012
In our current development cycle Sprint 9 & 10, the following enhancements have been implemented as of 22nd of August.
- Ability to automatically assign a cart icon to a member (new member fields in relation to owning their own cart or to book out a club cart for medical reasons) added to the member details page. Details here
- Repair for showing +par scores on New Clubhouse Leaderboards when cut values used.
- Introduce message on closing comps and protection against re-posting comp fees. Click here for screen samples
- Option to hide names as booked label on the lesson booking diary.
- New link to re-open competitions added to each comp listing.
- Storage Locker data field included in export membership / handicap report
- Waitlist transfers now occur on Kiosk booking mode
- New Tee block selection available in blank scorecard printing interface
- Two’s competition added (leaderboard of players who have had a 2 shot on any holes)
- Club house leaderboards has fixes for grade display and adverts accepted with spaces in the image file name.
- Support for Casual/Social Round Kiosk registration and printing of scorecards. Call to enquiry for setup. NZ use only -details attached
- Change to the timesheet quartz trigger algorithm (better server efficiency to trigger open events)
- List of Booking Categories are now shown for admin only. This lists all active booking resources for staff access under the fixtures page.
- Prize export allocation report now includes a competition date option so that the output relates to prizes allocated on the comp date selected.
